Family Equipment

As Trek parents, you will also need to bring additional items that will be used for your families. It is not expected that you should purchase items that you do not have. For items that you do not have, please solicit help from other members of your ward and stake. What NOT to Bring
In the past, it has been the desire of some to bring extra things to help the youth in their Trek experience. Most often, however, these “extras” actually detract from the Trek experience. Rest assured that these equipment lists for the youth and Trek parents has been poured over, prayed over, and reviewed so that we can provide the best possible Trek experience for the youth. We are not trying to re-create a pioneer experience, but we are trying to provide at least a moderately difficult experience that the youth can overcome.

With this in mind, please do not bring any of the following items:

•     Extra food
•     Snacks
•     Candy
•     Pies
